   We need to outlaw fossil fuel energy and quickly substitute 
   another energy source in it's place.

   I argue an economic argument here because a moral argument won't be 
   as effective.


I would like to raise awareness of the total cost of fossil fuel energy.

The true cost of fossil fuel energy is much higher when the total costs are 
calculated in the cost for this energy source.  If one counts the total cost 
of fossil fuel energy then it will be a simple decision to outlaw it and 
develop another cheaper energy source in it's place immediately.

The offending chemicals that are released into the atmosphere when fossil 
fuel energy is used are the following:

   Carbon Dioxide
   Nitrous Oxide
   Ground level Ozone
   ect...

The negative effects of these chemicals on Earth:

   1. Natural disasters are made worse by more extreme weather patterns.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      a. Shifting rain patterns will increase rains in one area of Earth 
         creating new lakes and wet lands out of farms and cities and at 
         the same time leave other areas of Earth very dry, turning these
         areas into desert like terrains.

      b. Intensified winter and summer weather conditions with more extreme 
         cold and hot temperatures for longer periods.

      c. Tornado and hurricane forces will increase in frequency and in
         intensity and may strike in previously uncommon areas on Earth. 

      d. Increased ocean and air temperatures around the south and north poles
         will free large sections of ice mountains that will float into warmer 
         oceans and effect ocean currents in unknown ways when they change the
         ocean's temperature wherever they float.  

      e. When the large ice masses melt into the oceans from the original 
         above sea level position where they now rest, ice will displace 
         water equal to the mass of the ice mountain and it will raise sea 
         levels around the world to unknown heights.

The true cost of fossil fuel technology should include the cost of: 
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

   1. Increased energy bills for customers and businesses to fight the extreme
      hot and cold temperatures of summer and winter weather.

   2. Natural disasters made worse by the green house gasses which are emitted
      into to the atmosphere, the total cost of these natural disasters such 
      as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and droughts should be counted.

   3. Increased ocean water levels will cause large valuable cities to be 
      abandoned and masses of people will have to find new places to live,
      industries and trade will be desrupted around the world, the total cost 
      of that should also be counted.
      

All knowledgeable people should come together from many nations on Earth and
together they should invent a new cleaner energy source before the costs of 
using fossil fuels go up any further.  When the true cost of using fossil fuel 
technology today is counted, it is simply cheaper to spend much more money on 
research now and invent a cleaner energy source for man's needs in the very 
near future.

If man waits much more before acting on this important issue, he may once again 
be using horses and cattle for transportation and farming in a world where 
there are much fewer people alive and much less dry surface to live on.
